Uttarakhand: Electric heaters were provided to 38 more families, 1.87 crores were distributed to affected families

Electric heaters and bonfires were provided to the families evacuated in Joshimath. 1.50 lakh will be distributed to each affected family said DM of Chamoli district. 


Dehradun:The electric heaters provided 38 more families in the relief camps of families evacuated from the affected area. The administration provided relief goods to the families. 

The Joshimath in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand has developed cracks and subsidence in the grounds and homes. The incident is said to be a disaster. The families living there have been struck by the disaster. However, they all have been evacuated while the evacuation process is still going on. The families are subjected to relief camps. The center also ordered the rescue, relief, and analysis of the subsidence of the Joshimath ground. 

The Joshimath is in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.

A few days back, Joshimath began developing cracks in its ground. Being in the hilly area, its land began to subside. The living spaces and homes of people and the families living got there got in trouble leading to their evacuation. 

The government also made arrangements for bonfires at 10 places, they said. 223 families evacuated from the conflicted place according to Disaster Management Secretary Ranjit Sinha. 

The families have been evacuated to temporary relief centers.
