Russia training combat dolphins, increased its deployment since last year: UK intelligence assessment report

UK Defense Intelligence has claimed that Russia is training combat dolphins in the Crimean Peninsula to strengthen its forces against Ukrainian military. UK shared images of the activities on Twitter on Friday while it publishes assessment report about the war every day.

It has also claimed the Russia has invested largely on strengthening its forces at Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol since last year. Russia’s deployment of military dolphins has increased since last year.

Dolphins are said to an intelligent mammal. Hence the bottleneck dolphins are used in installing underwater mines against the enemy. They are called as enemy divers. Russia is not the first to use it by US navy has also used it in bolstering their navy army.

 After two months from February in 2022, the commercial firm Maxar and US Naval Institute has jointly reported installation two transportable dolphins’ pens in the Sevastopol Harbour. British publishes the assessment report every day and this was much talked in Ukrainian media while Russian media stayed silent.
