Today, I was just going to University. I was crossing a pathway called Shaheed path. It's a popular pathway linking Lucknow central city to Kanpur road. Along the route, I saw elevated buildings, luxurious houses, malls, and other such buildings. I thought all these buildings, this solo much-developed infrastructure, Lucknow must have sacrificed a lot. It would have lost many things, and sacrificed many things in achieving all these amenities. It would have gone through a lot of struggles. It might have lost its greenery, peaceful environment, its natural attributes, and maybe many people might have sacrificed and lost most of their things. Maybe they have been displaced from their homes or maybe they have been transported to some other city. Children might have lost their education. It can be much more than these things.
It's now becoming an infrastructure development fashion. In the name of development to achieve well-developed infrastructure, people are being displaced from their homes, and their habitat the worst part is it matters to no one, not even the state.
All the eminent, luxury that we around aren't the way it looks. It has the investment of many poor people, their sacrifices, and their life. Most of it is maybe the loss of their shelter. Isn't the way it looks, it never can be!!
