Through media, TV channels, social media , I
learned that the "The Kashmir Files" will be tremendous to watch, full of suspense and thrill. My brother motivated me to watch trailor as he learned from his friends that movie will be thrilling to watch.
Motivated from his words I watched the trailor and it gave me goosebumps. Trailor was absolutely thrilling and that gave instilled excitement in me to watch the movie anyhow.
I conveyed my experience to my sister and motivated her to let's convince our father to let's go to watch this in cinema as it's worthy to watch for thrilling experience.
Tickets booked and we went.
THE MOVIE
Scene opens with a person reading a newspaper , it was written "Farooq Abdullah resigns" , that means Farooq Abdullah, who was Chief Minister in Kashmir resigned from his post due to threats from Islamic radicals and militants. It was all about the politics in the 1990 in Kashmir.
There were no sound effects, just the dialogue deliveries were there. I found it boring. Afterwards , the protagonist Krishna Pandit (Darshan Kumar) came in. When it was his story of childhood ended and when he grew old , it was all confusing.
Then , the main plot begins where the militants, islamic radicals were threatening the people ( here,Kashmiri pandits). The way the scenes are being shown , militants killing the people, brutality, making a women eating rice soaked in blood, mass coming out of the body while shooting to death. It was all disturbing. I remembered the way all this will put impact the kids, children who have come to watch a movie (definitely not of such disturbing scenes). And not only this , a woman is cut from between through a wood cutting machine. It was completely shown in the movie. If you are hard hearted , then this movie is for you not for sensitive people like me.
I found the way the scenes were put in order was confusing. The best part i liked is the monologue given by the protagonist. He began the story of how Kashmir was named as "KASHMIR". He told all about the historical events that happened in Kashmir before the even India came into existence (i guess). The history that we hardly read in books and classes.
Vishnu Pandit giving speech for presidential election
ACTING OF ACTORS
This was the best part i liked. The acting abd role played by actors was absolutely mind-blowing.
Atul Srivastava - Vishnu Ram
Prakash Belawadi - Dr. Mahesh Kumar
So on..
Anupam kher was the Protagonist's grandfather and he had four friends. Doctor, DGP, IAS and journalist. The role played by all of them was the best part. It looked natural as they are living the character. If you are Mithun Chakraborty , Anupam Kher's , definitely this for you.
WRAPPING UP
Overall, if i say the cinematography was good. Scenes were boring. Intensity of atrocities shown were at its zenith. It was political instability that happened due to the failure of the administration. Thinking with the mind of castism is completely irrational because the protagonist mentions in his speech that not only pandits but many other Hindus, moderate muslims, sikhs, buddist, Dalits were also killed in this tragedy so it was a humanitarian tragedy.
Let not media, social media drive you crazy . It all propoganda that's being spread to manipulate the minds of the sensitive people. This political instability led to kill our people, they were forced to like refugees in their own country. Now , the question which has to be think is when the government will take action to place back the kashmiri pandits ? And now as the Kashmir is under India's control, will now there will peace like any other state in India so as to avoid such humanitarian tragedy like this massacre and pulwama too. The question is still answered !
