While Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra reaches Kashmir on the other hand the unemployment rate in India is on the surge. Amid technology layoffs by technology giants, the unemployment rate in India is high at 8% in 16 months as reported by CMIE. The generation of government jobs is at the least stage. However, it is decreasing currently. The vacancies coming in in the government sector are going in vain i.e. no recruitment is done on the vacancies. Since the start of the NDA government, unemployment has become a serious issue. The AAP government has held a protest in Maharashtra on unemployment with #modirozgaar do. This makes me remind of the opposition What is the opposition doing? The strong opposition is missing on this part.
The unemployment rate is at an alarming stage in the states of different states like Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Haryana. Haryana’s unemployment rate is nearly 37.6 % which tops the row. Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka is also in the row.
This data sounds horrifying just like the situations of the youth presently. Can we imagine how Ravi Kumar who has been fired from a manufacturing company last year November is now unable to pay 1lakh rupees debt because of a sudden layoff? The Lucknow’s Charbagh Railway Station was flooded with youth last November because of a government exam taking place at various centers in one day. Don’t we see? How do several youths lie on the train roof just for a government exam? How do they risk their lives just for it? Imagine you and me being there? Tough no? However, we are employed but those coming from a primitive background are living worse.
Ravish Kumar reported the pathetic circumstances of the students living in dormitories in Allahabad for exam preparations. You and I might be in a privileged condition but those people are living in hell. Even the privileged are laid off today. LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook are flooded with #layoffs done by the technology giants. The question comes when? When will the youth be employ? When will the vacancies in the government sector be fully fulfilled? A great Question Mark. Isn’t it?

Women are adversely affected. You will find a lot of stories on the job termination of women on LinkedIn presently. One of the posts will say "I am the only woman working and I lost my job recently. I am one of the sufferers among the laid-offs. I have no money to repay my debts. How will I look after my family? How will I look after the education of my younger brother and sister?
Economists say
Economists are continuously warning about the approaching more unemployment mayhem. 52 % economists of National Association for Business Economics forecasted recession in 2023 leading to increase in unemployment rate, according to Public News Time.
The question that comes is whether the government is ready for the approaching recession. What if the unemployment rate accelerates? Does the government have a solution? There are no answers to these questions. Who is accountable for these questions? The government? The technology giants? The law of the land? or the people. Who?
